Cajun Barbecue Sauce

GREAT VERY HOT

 

....Place all in a saucepan....Simmer 2 hours

1/2 C. WHITE SUGAR

1/2 C. French's MUSTARD

1/4 C. BROWN SUGAR

A Few Shakes of CRUSHED RED PEPPER

3 C. BEEF CONSUME

1/2 C. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1/4 C. WHITE VINEGAR

1/4 C. LIQUID SMOKE

8 oz. TOMATO PASTE

1 T. CHILI POWDER

 

Great brushed on cooked Ribs, Chicken and Beef

Di's Barbecue Sauce

....Place all in a sauce pan

........Cook stirring occasionally until sugar melts

1 - 8oz. TOMATO PASTE

2 T. PREPARED MUSTARD

1 T. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

2 T. WHITE VINEGAR

1/2 C. BROWN SUGAR

2 tsp. LIQUID SMOKE

 

Great sauce for Ribs, Chicken and Beef brushed on in the last minutes of grilling or as a dipping sauce.

Honey BBQ Sauce

Great for Beef, Chicken or Ribs

 

....Place all in a sauce pan

........Cook stirring occasionally until sugar melts....at least 5 minutes

1 T. CANOLA OIL

1 tsp. ONION POWDER

1 tsp. GARLIC Powder

8 oz. TOMATO SAUCE, unsalted

1/2 C. HONEY

2 T. Apple Cider VINEGAR

1 T. WORCESTERSHIRE Sauce

1/4 tsp. BLACK PEPPER

1/8 tsp. CAYENNE PEPPER

 

Serve warm with ribs or chicken for a dipping sauce.

Store any leftover sauce in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed jar.

Key West BBQ Sauce

Makes about 1-1/2 cups

Great for Chicken, Ribs or deep fried Tofu

 

....Combine all in a medium saucepan

1/2 C. KETCHUP

1/2 C. HONEY

2 T. LIME JUICE

2 cloves GARLIC, minced

1 small ONION, minced

4 T. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1 tsp. HOT PEPPER SAUCE

 

Bring to a boil....Turn to low and simmer for 20-30 minutes

Serve warm with ribs or chicken for a dipping sauce.

Store leftover in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed jar

Oriental Barbecue Sauce

GREAT....This is a very distinctive flavored BBQ sauce.

You can use it either in the oven or on the grill.

It is also fast to make no cooking.

 

....Mix all together in a 2 cup measuring cup

1/2 C. CATSUP

1/2 C. Light CORN SYRUP

1/4 C. SOY SAUCE

A few shakes GARLIC POWDER

1/2 tsp. ANISE SEED *

1/2 tsp. CINNAMON *

1/2 tsp. PEPPER *

1/8 tsp. Ground CLOVES *

 

....Brush on....

Chicken, Chops, Spare Ribs or Steak during the last minutes of cooking

 

* For the last 4 items you can substitute

2 tsp. CHINESE FIVE SPICE

Texas Blackjack BBQ Sauce

........Simmer stirring occasionally for at least 25 minutes

1 C. Strong COFFEE

1 C. WORCESTERSHIRE

1 C. CATSUP

1/2 C. VINEGAR

1/2 C. BROWN SUGAR

3 T. CHILI POWDER

2 C. chopped ONION

6 cloves GARLIC, crushed

2 tsp. SALT
